Nasu castle
Nasu castle town where Fujiwara Sukeie built it and Nasu moved to Inazumi castle / Karasuyama castle.
[Explanation]
Nasu castle was located in Nakagawa Town, Nasu county, Tochigi Prefecture, called Hira castle, another name is called Kanda Castle.
It was built by “Nasu’s Sodearu” in the late Heian period and existed as Nasu’s residence until it is knowns as castle of feudal lord Nasu (Sudo)’s “Sudou Sukekiyo”.
Nasu abandoned the castle after moving to nearby Inazuma castle / Takadate castle, but remains such as soil and dry maot are present. Currently, Kanda Castle Ruins is designated as a national historic site as “Nasu Kanda Castle Ruins”.
