[Explanation]
The castle was built in 1336 by Kagemori Kozuki who was a part of Akamatsu-shi (Akamatsu clan).
After that, it became Akamatsu-shi’s castl, and during the Sengoku period Masanori Akamatsu became the owner, but it fell when Hideyoshi Hashiba, Nobunaga Oda’s vassal, began Nakatsukuni Teihei
Shikanosuke Nakayama and Katsuhisa Amago, who wished to rebuilt the Sannin region’s famous family, Amago-shi (Amago clan), entered the castle, but they were attacked by Mori and their wish never came true.
