Shiroishi Castle was a castle that was ruled by a vassal of the Date family, 「Katakura Family」 in Shiroishi City, Miyagi Prefecture. It was not destroyed by the fact that it was recognized as an exception to the 「Ikkoku Ichijo Rei」 (an ordinance of the one Castle per province) by the Tokugawa Shogunate. Originally, the Shiraishi clan settled in the Kamakura period and building the foundation of Shiroishi Castle.
