Nagakubo Castle is a mountain castle located in Shimonagakubo, Nagaizumi Town, Sunto Town, Shizuoka Province.

The castle built year is unknown, but it is said that the castle was built by Mr. Nagakubo when Outomo Chikayori occupied Sunto Town in Suruga Country in Eikyo 11 year (1429).

In addition, Mr. Nagakuno was the master of Suruga Country, and served for Mr. Imagawa. When entering Sengoku Era, the battle among Takeda, Hojyo and Imagawa continued. Tensho 10 year (1582), after Mr. Kakeda destroyed, [Tokugawa Ieyasu] owned the castle. After that, when Ieyasu moved to Kanto, the castle was owned by [Takamura Kazuuji]. Keicho 5 year (1600), Kazuuji also moved and [Nagakubo Castle] became abandoned.

Nowadays, Honmaru ruins is destroyed and soil base, Sannomaru is left around North Primary school inside the Kiyama Shrine.
