[Explanation]
Gochaku Castle where Kodera-shi was based was also called Chausuyama Castle and Amagi Castle, and it is currently based at 10 minute walk distance from Gochaku station, which is one station from Himeji station by JR Sanyo Line.
It was used by Akamatsu-shi for protection before Kodera-shi.

Right now there is almost no remnants of the building, but it has been established as a park and there are monument and mausoleum of Kanbee Kuroda.

There are a lot of large residences along the path to Gochaku Castle from Gochaku station, and you can easily see that there were Buke Yashiki (Samurai residence) around the castle.
