Namioka castle is a flat castle that was in Namioka, Aomori Prefecture.
It is said that it was built by the Kitabatake family during the Jonin era.

Entering the Sengoku period, the ninth head of the family “Kitabatake Akimura” was attacked by Ohoura Tamenoubu (Tsugaru Tamenoubu) and Namioka castle came down and Mr. Kitabake Namioka died. At the current castle ruins, there are remains of soils and dry moats. In addition, Namioka Castle Ruins is the first national historic site in Aomori Prefecture.
