[Description]
Mizugae Castle is a flatland castle located in Tate Town, Saga City, Saga Province.
It is said that the castle was built by [Ryuzoji Yasuie] during Bunmei Period. After Takanobu lost [the Battle of Okitanawate], Nabeshima Naoshige took over his territory and gained power. In Tensho 13(1585), [Saga castle] was newly built causing Mizuga castle to be abandoned.

The original size of the castle was like a pavilion, and Ryuzoji Iekane extended it. It is also said that it is a flatland castle. When Ryuzoji became the head of Mr. Ryuzo, his younger brother [Ryuzoji Naganobu] was the castle owner.

[Ryuzoji Takanobu Birth Monument] is built in [Tokan Park]. Mizugae remaingings almost have nothing left.
